The Austin Capitals is a first-of-its-kind exhibition basketball team dedicated to developing top young prospects in preparation for the FIBA Overseas. Based in the Austin Area, the roster includes elite players who are eligible to play overseas as well as established veterans who serve as mentors to the team’s young talent. Our team focuses on high-level competition and accelerated on-court development for players who are beginning their professional careers. Additionally, our team provides life skills training that includes financial literacy education, community service and overseas job opportunities. While the Austin Capitals is not a traditional basketball team, competition includes games against various semi-pro basketball teams and exhibitions against international teams.
